Website AFTER redesign

Website BEFORE redesign

With a goal of improving their profile and establishing more of a professional presence in the community, the Amethyst Women's Addiction Centre entrusted their website redesign to Impact Public Affairs. The existing website was outdated and user unfriendly website.

The re-designed website allows visitors to navigate more easily and portrays a modern look of the agency.  Photos of smiling, happy women are featured on each page which gives new clients hope and sets a positive look and feel.  The purple theme throughout the website is consistent with Amethyst’s branding – purple, like the gem stone from which the agency takes its name.

New website features:

  • A media section which allows the charity to publicize events and lends credibility to the organization
  • Fundraising initiatives highlighted on special pages for maximum exposure
  • A donation page, featuring a Donate button, allows visitors to make a contribution through PayPal at the click of a button
  • A specially designed homepage to illustrate the diversity of the agency

During the switch-over, the web address remained the same: www.amethyst-ottawa.org

To generate interest in the website, Impact created a movie trailer that directed viewers to the website.
