GRAEME DAVIDSON
RESEARCHER
Graeme is a researcher and writer for Impact Public Affairs. He serves a number of different roles for clients: writing briefs and analysis, preparing submissions to governments, doing research, and evaluating long-term issues and trends. He is able to effectively scrutinize new legislation and policy to assess its potential impacts, intended and unintended. With an inquisitive and analytical mindset, he seeks to examine all angles of a subject, and ask the questions other are not. He works with major trade associations, coalitions, and corporations on developing briefings and submissions to government that effectively cut through the noise and sets clients up for success.
Drawing from a broad knowledge base and multi-disciplinary background, he excels working within a diverse array of subject matters. As comfortable with the arts as with the sciences, he combines deep knowledge and understanding with strong communications skills in both English and French. He specializes in presenting advanced or technical concepts simply and persuasively. He approaches his writing with the principle that the most important element of good communication is being understood.
Outside of work he enjoys reading history and fiction books, playing chess and other strategy games, trying new cooking experiments, and playing music.
