SYDNEY ROBINSON

Sydney is a strategic and experienced consultant with a strong background in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, and government relations. She is passionate about connecting impactful organizations with government decision-makers and aligning stakeholder priorities with national and provincial policy goals.
Prior to joining Impact, Sydney worked for a Federal Member of Parliament and Secretary of State, where she coordinated high-impact stakeholder events, scheduled policy announcements, and facilitated ministerial visits, ensuring alignment between community needs and federal initiatives. She also held a role with the Public Affairs and Communications team at CPP Investments, where she engaged with stakeholders across Canada, including financial institutions, policy think tanks, and senior and pensioner organizations, with a particular emphasis on stakeholder engagement in Alberta. Her work focused on enhancing Canadians’ financial literacy and improving CPP Investments’ communications around fund sustainability through planned speaking engagements with Senior Management Team members and facilitating educational webinars.
Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies with a minor in Environmental Studies from Queen’s University. Her academic and professional experiences have fueled her interest in political strategy, regional engagement, and advancing public understanding of complex policy issues.
